TESTING THE ALARM
TESTING YOUR FSA-26000 SMOKE ALARMS
We recommend testing your FSA-26000 Smoke Alarms monthly to confirm they are working correctly.
PRESS TEST BUTTON
Press and hold the TEST button on any smoke alarm for 3 seconds to test ALL smoke alarms.
ALARM SOUNDS
After a short delay, the smoke alarm will sound for 10 seconds, and the red light will flash on front face.
NOTE: Smoke alarms CANNOT be HUSHED while in TESTING mode.
NOTE: Smoke alarms CANNOT be TESTED more than once in 5 minutes. (Units commence recalibration in this time period)
FACTORY RESETTING
FACTORY RESETTING FSA-26000 SMOKE ALARMS
To restore your FSA-26000 Smoke Alarms to their factory settings, follow the steps.
REMOVE UNIT
Remove the unit from the base
REMOVE BATTERY
Remove the battery from the unit
TEST BUTTON
Hold the test button for 15 seconds
REPEAT ON WIRED INTERCONNECTED ALARMS
Repeat for any interconnected alarms
REINSTALL BATTERY
Reinstall the battery/s in each unit
SECURE ALARM
Reattach the alarms to their bases
